    February Favourites

If I see someone who looks great I will almost always ask them what they’re wearing and where I can get it. There have been many times where I have to refrain myself from yelling, “NICE JACKET! YOU LOOK GOOD TODAY” out my window. I love compliments and I love learning about new products. Next time you’re bored and with your friends play, “what’s in your handbag”  because it’s part embarrassing and part knowledgeable! This post is basically what I’m loving now. I normally make favourites videos seasonally, but I thought I would share my monthly favourites via blog post. Let me know what you think, if you’ve tried the same thing, OR if you think you have a better version! Read on to discover what I’m loving these days.

    Oscar Striped Jersey

Oh I could write a whole post about my love for striped shirts. My latest one is from Sézane (surprised?) and it is amazing. Surprising soft and with the cutest back tie detail, I’m over-the-moon in love with it. Rather than this post turning into another Sézane love letter, I’ll direct you to my latest video on how to style this gem! If you’re in the market for a great striped shirt I highly recommend this one that comes in navy/ecru and Sézane just released the Loic that is navy/burgundy striped with buttons on the shoulder. Perfection! See the, “Shop the Post” carousel below.

    Maggy Blouse

Another Sézane blouse! Again no surprise because I love this brand but the colour of this top is the true star. Called, “saffron” it’s a dreamy golden/mustard. It’s made of cotton so I’m excited to wear it into summer. Sadly this colour is no longer available but their white version is which is equally beautiful and perfect for summer. If you’re looking for a shirt in this colour they have one called the Anabelle and I also recently got the Harper top from Doen who calls it “Golden Hour” and uses it a lot throughout their spring collection.

    Headbands from Anthropologie

I’m growing out my bangs and I’m looking for something cute to hide the awkwardness that comes with it. I found these at Anthropologie and they’re the best! Along with keeping my bangs down they also provide a, “oh-hey-I’m-just-a-cute-mom-with-a-cute-mom-hairstyle” vibe. They come in many other colours you can check out here for the velvet version and here for more striped colours OR shop the post below.

Sephora Golden Hour Highlighter in 02 Dawn

As I mentioned above, if I’m out and I see someone who looks/smells great I always ask them what they’re wearing and where I can get it. I’ve learned about the best products this way and this highlight is an example. My husband and I were out on date night and our waitress just glowed. I stared at her in awe hoping she was wearing an affordable highlighter and found out she was! It’s the Sephora Highlighter in 02 Dawn and provides a lovely, glowy look which I LOVE.

    Ouai Hair oil

My hair is naturally curly and errs on the dry side so I’ve made it my mission to research and find hair products that help with the health and look of my hair. For styling I’ve mentioned my new favourite cream – Bumble and Bumble’s All-Style Blow Dry but I love Ouai oil for finishing. I’ve been looking for something to tame the flyaways and add shine and this does that! I’m so impressed with this oil and have been using it non-stop and it looks like I haven’t even touched the bottle. I think it’s a great value.
