    1 | Cuddle + Kind Doll

These dolls are the sweetest knit friends you will ever see! Cuddle + Kind will provide 10 meals to kids in North America and around the world. They work with United Nations World Food Program with the goal of providing 1 million meals a year. They also come in many other animal and colour variations.

2 | Cuyana Cami Sleep Set

I’ve recently been more interested in buying nice pyjamas. Maybe it’s from my lack of sleep as a parent but recently my husband Wes and I are investing more into our sleeping. We just got a new bed, including mattress, headboard and sheets and now it’s time to look at sleepwear. Cuyana is involved with ThredUp as part of their Lean Closet Initiative where they, “desire to have an impact beyond creating beautiful apparel and accessories”. Their ThredUp project allows you to trade in your gently-used clothing for credit to their store where 5% of your purchase will be donated to H.E.A.R.T. (Helping Ease Abuse Related Trauma). There are more details here. Cuyana is best known for their bags and totes but I think their apparel is just as luxurious. The pyjama set also comes in grey and black.

    3 | Dôen Yearling Clothing

If you spend about 5 minutes on my site you’ll know that Dôen is one of my favourite brands. Their clothing is beautiful and well designed but beyond that they’re a company who loves to and support causes that mean a lot to them. They support various charities but one that I would like to point out is Room to Read. By purchasing certain Dôen Yearling clothes (their kids line) Dôen donates 100% of the profits to benefit Room to Read’s mission to promote literacy and gender equality. Read more about the charity and Dôen’s mission here. You can also donate to the charity at checkout. My daughter Lux is obsessed with wearing dresses so when I can I buy some from Dôen. Their designs are very sweet, breathable and practical and my daughter loves to wear them. Good news is Dôen is expanding their kid’s sizes and will be carrying size 2-10 starting in the Spring.

4 | Poppy Barley Shoes (Canadian!)

Poppy Barley is a Canadian shoe and accessories company who donates 1% of their sales to their communities in Canada and Mexico. On each listing Poppy Barley shares the factory where their shoes are ethically made. Their designs are stylish, made of leather, and the reviews beam about how comfortable they are. If you’re thinking about new boots or shoes this season consider Poppy Barley!

    5 | Sackcloth & Ashes Blanket

I first found out about this brand through my sister-in-law who has one of their stunning blankets. I’m always on the lookout for cozy and pretty blankets and that’s what Sackcloth and Ashes makes. What’s even better is that they donate a blanket to a local shelter every time you purchase one of their designs. They recently restocked their blankets for the holidays and there are sooooo many pretty designs!

6 | Mary Young Underwear (Canadian!)

Mary Young lingerie is a new discovery for me and I’m already obsessed with their simple but cool designs like the Logan and Contrast bra. Mary started a movement called the, Self Love Club, where “$1 from every item sold to Raw Beauty Talks, a non-profit society promoting the mental and physical health of girls and young women by increasing their self-confidence and cultivating positive body image through education in schools, public events, and through media.”

    7 | Sèzane Demain T-shirt and Initiative

I love brands that produce beautiful designs but it’s important to me to support brands that also have a heart. Sézane is a French brand that started an initiave called, “Demain” which means “tomorrow” in French. They had a goal of raising 1 million euro in 2018 for charities in France, primarily ‘La Voix de L’Enfant’ and reached their goal this October! They are now partnering with, ‘Pencils of Promise’ (POP) in the United States who builds schools and promotes education in developing countries. One of the many ways Sézane raises money is through a new clothing design they develop monthly. It’s always chic and always well-made and ranges from a tote bag to a beautiful blouse. The item goes for sale on the 21st of every month and a percentage of sales of everything that day goes to their charity.

8 | Bare Knitwear Kimono Coat (Canadian!)

Bare Knitwear is a clothing company based out of Vancouver who works with and supports artisans in Peru. By using these artisan techniques Bare Knitwear is able to contribute to the employment of 150-300 female artisans in Peru each year.  Their knitwear is classic and luxurious and well-designed. They spend hours perfecting each piece to make it a well-loved part of your wardrobe.
