    1 | Oak & Fort denim coat

I got this coat in November (featured it on my instagram here) and it’s one of my go-to coats for everyday life. It’s so comfortable and cool. I’ve always tried to get on the denim jacket train but the classic styles never really fit my lifestyle. Enter this classic with a twist! There’s something about it’s length that gives it a bit of an edge. Find it at Oak & Fort here.

2 | Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose $35 for a Rollerball

I received mini’s of the Nirvana collection for Christmas which include four scents: Black, White, Bourbon, and Rose. I have had a rollerball of Bourbon for a while so I’ve been a fan so I was so excited to try the other scents. THEY ARE SO GOOD! Nirvana Rose is my favourite, then the Black and finally the white but I love them all. It was a seriously good gift. (Thanks mom!) The Rose has notes of geranium, rose, and vetiver. I always describe the scents I like as dark, spicy, and sexy and this is no exception! Just add the freshness of rose and geranium and I have my new favourite day scent.

3 | Oak and Fort jumpsuit

Another Oak & Fort find! You can find a couple pictures of me wearing this great jumpsuit on my instagram here and here. I am obsessed with this piece and I’m actually using it as one of my selections for the 10×10 Challenge! It’s so versatile and easy and flattering. What more could you want? Find the jumpsuit in many different colours here.

4 | PicassoTiles Magnetic building blocks

We received these tiles as a gift for Christmas from Wes’s sister. Her 7 year old has them and has loved them for years so I was excited about the toy’s longevity. I was nervous that the magnetic tiles would be frustrating for Lux, my 2.5 year old, as the structures can be delicate but she’s obsessed! We’ve spent many nights building her required 3-4 houses, “taller and taller” before she will go to bed. To see these in action check out my video here.

    5 | Everlane Boss Boot

I’m so in love with these boots! I got them in NYC in October and they’re basically the only boots I wear. I think they are so flattering because of the pointed toe (makes my legs look longer) and the slight heel (makes me taller). They’re super comfortable and great quality. I’m only looking to get them re-heeled now so that I can keep wearing them without damage. Favourite.Boot.EVER.

6 | Bumble and Bumble All-Style Blow Dry

I have naturally curly hair. It’s not as curly as it used to be because of having children (fyi it can change your hair) but it’s always been dry and prone to frizziness. In high school I would “combat” my curls by throwing half a can of mousse in my hair then half a bottle of Dep (remember Dep and Dippity-do?) and my hair wouldn’t move which was my goal. After I started straightening my hair in University I looked for products to help with the frizziness. I have been using, Redken Frizz Dismiss for the longest time but I’ve recently found Bumble and Bumble Blow Dry and it is a game changer! My hair is so much smoother after blowdrying which makes it faster to do. Hello saving time!

7 | Too faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray

I like to use primers to help my makeup look smoother when applied and also to help it stay on longer throughout the day. I also use a setting spray to help the longevity of my makeup and add a glow-y finish to my look. So if you’re counting I use two separate products for this which I didn’t think was a big deal- they each do separate things! Enter the Too faced Primer AND setting spray! This product can be used before and after makeup along with in the middle of your day to refresh your makeup! I’ve been using it for about a month and it works so well! It’s the only thing that has been able to keep my blush on throughout the day. My makeup has never looked better, I love the finish and how my makeup looks over it as a primer.

    8 | Usborne Touchy-Feedly Farmyard Tales Animal Hide-and-seek

I purchased this book for my girls as a Christmas present and it is one of Poppy’s favourite books! We read this book every night lifting flaps and touching the various textures. This book has many touch points so it’s good for sharing. One page will have up to 5 different textures to feel! The flaps are also amazing quality for those enthusiastic toddler hands. This is one of those books that has everything and the kitchen sink to keep your kids’ interest. It’s one of our favs!

9 | Stila Aqua Glow Watercolour cushion blush in Rosewater

The Stila cushion blush is a waterproof gel formula and has the suitable description as a, “watercolour”. As mentioned in my video, cushion foundations have never been that interesting to me because I would rather go for a BB cream if I wanted light coverage. But as a blush I think the cushion application is brilliant! Applying blush has always been tricky for me- it never really looked natural. I’ve tried different brushes, formulas, stains, etc. but haven’t found the dewy, fresh, natural look I’ve been hoping for until this! The Stila cushion blush does everything I want and will definitely be a summer staple.

9 | Sezane Ninon blouse in ecru

I’ve talked at length about my favourite blouse, the Ninon from Sezane so I’ll direct you to the love letter post. I’ll mention here that when it’s restocked, it has come in a variety of other gorgeous colours including red, black and green. If you haven’t heard of Sezane be prepared to fall in love with your new favourite brand.

Those are my favourites this winter! Let me know what you want to try, have tried and what your favourites are!
