    Sézane Archives Part 2

If you saw my Sézane Archives Part 1 post you’ll have seen the gorgeous items that were up for grabs last week. This morning had an equal amount of beauty including one of my favourite blouses the Izaac (pictured above). One of my favourite things about Sézane is there ability to make a classic blouse special and sexy. Everything I got from the brand during the archives definitely achieves this. See below for my favourites and what I got!

What I got at the Sézane Archives: Sézane Izaac blouse, Sézane sale

What I got at the Sézane Archives

The Izaac is one of my favourite shirts from Sézane (along with the Ninon I purchased last week) so I was happy to add another colour to my collection! The Izaac comes in three colours: The nude Lurex which I own, red flowers, and the green gold star. Admittedly I love the red flower version of this top but it’s polyester so I wouldn’t enjoy wearing it.

The Bonny is a top I’ve loved since last spring when I waited too long to buy it and then my size was sold out. I have dreams of wearing this top on sparkly summer evening dates.

The Gloria is my risky purchase! I love this sexy blouse and I remember admiring it once upon a time. It was a separate purchase for me because I didn’t expect it to be in the archives. I was a bit bummed that my usual size wasn’t available but Sézane’s sizing tab advises to go up a size so I went for it. I’m curently pregnant so this top will not look like this on me (insert cry-laughing emoji) but it can definitely serve as a cardigan until I can tuck my shirts in again.

The “Born in the 80’s T-shirt” was another favourite that I admired too late. I remember being in the New York Sézane boutique and all the women working were wearing these as their uniform. The shirt was completely sold out so I was happy to rediscover it!

The Cassie Sweater was restocked from last week! I did get the navy colour but I’m going to return it for this red version. How gorgeous and French is this sweater? Now excuse me as I talk myself down from cutting my hair like this amazing model.

    SHOPPING TIPS

One of my tricks to grabbing what I want is to use the search bar to find the item directly. For some reason ( in my experience) this part allows access to the item before the archives are officially “open”. This started working at 2 minutes before Sézane’s 10am start time (France time) so I was able to grab the items I wanted most: The Izaac and Bonny tops. I tried to access the “Archive” main menu at this time and couldn’t access it. Of course this will work if you know the item name. Another trick a friend told me is to shop from your wish list (see above). Sézane allows you to add items to your account’s wish list and you can add the item and size you want directly from there once it is back in stock. To my knowledge you’re not notified in any way that something is back on your wish list during the Archives (I never received an email or notification). I tested this method this morning and it works too! This of course only works if your coveted item is on your wish list so start making that dream list now!

See you in the Summer for the next Archive Sale!
