Sézane’s winter collection came out today and along with the sparkle and lace you normally see with a December release we also get a lovely dose of floral and printed velvet. Since the summer Sézane founder, Morgane Sezalory, has told us of the brand’s renaissance starting in the fall and that we shouldn’t expect the typical seasonal trends. While she did give us the alpaca, the wool, the tweed of fall and now the silk, glitter, and gold of winter, we also receive lovely floral, often influenced by Morgane’s vintage background.
Part of the winter collection is in collaboration with the French brand, Manoush. The bohemian brand claims to break the rules and loves to infuse colour into their designs. We see that with the luscious printed velvet mentioned earlier along, colourful floral embroidery and beautiful tulle skirts.

The other part of the winter collaboration has more gold, shirts, lace blouses (my favourite), and the long awaited lifestyle section! Sézane has lovely home decor including bedding, tableware, and stationery but for the past few months any lifestyle items were found for sale in store and were mainly stationery. Sézane’s pretty bedding, cool accessories and monogram mugs are back and as beautiful as ever.
As part of my Christmas present I asked for the Haws vase from Sézane which I have wanted for over a year. I also indulged in one of their famous monogram coffee mugs before my ever-popular initial, ‘K’, sold out and a floral cushion in a print I’m obsessed with. I also love their round velvet pillow and delicate jewelry boxes.
For clothing I’m obsessed with the glittery skirts from Manoush and forever in love with their lace blouses. They also released cheeky message tees with “daisy”, “artichoke”, and “storm” in french which I would love to wear.
