Jackets serve a very functional purpose. They need to protect us from the elements and I argue, coordinate perfectly with many outfits. We don’t have as many jackets as tops or dresses so one jacket has to serve many looks. As a mom I also want it to be wearable around children but again, stylish so I want to wear it. The “Will” jacket from Sézane is something I’ve always had my eye on but never bought until I was in Paris this past February where I could try it on in store and I immediately fell in love with it (see my vlog where I shop at Sézane here or at the bottom of this post). This jacket is released throughout the year in new colours and updated classics like this gorgeous white denim, traditional denim, and my recent favourite, Khaki. The pockets are wide and deep enough for whatever large phone is trending along with toy cars, hair clips, abandoned socks, etc.
While it’s a practical jacket, the white colour and structure makes it chic enough to wear paired with a blouse and dress pants for casual Friday but also with a t-shirt and high-waisted jeans for the weekend. I can’t wait to wear mine all season long playing with my kids on cool mornings and at night with a refreshing drink in hand. This jacket and more pretty practical options below!
