The first time I visited Sézane it was after months of pining for their clothing online. As a Canadian I wasn’t sure about ordering from France so I just admired the brand from a distance. On my first trip to New York city I found out Sézane had a store 10 minutes away from our hotel so I dragged my husband over to look at the boutique. I’m easily intimidated by beautiful spaces and brands so I tried on a few things and bought one blouse, my now favourite, the ninon. After wearing this top constantly I quickly fell in love with this beautiful french brand. Many purchases, and visits later (NYC and Paris), I came to NYC again to see their new beautiful renovation and see their latest collection.
The new space is bright and beautiful and feels bigger than the last time I was there. The shelves remain expertly styled with their leather bag collection and the white panelled walls and light wood floors remind us that we’re in a beautiful french boutique.
I’m currently (obviously) 7 months pregnant so I didn’t leave with anything but it was nice to see the store and feel the fabric. Until next time Sézane!
