I’ve recently fallen in love with the idea of wearing a scent that suits my mood and the season. I think it’s the easiest way to “dress-up” an outfit. Adding perfume is a way to add that little subtle sexiness.

Below are my favourite summer scents! I’ve been testing a LOT of perfumes (I mean, A LOT) and I think these ones are perfect for these hot summer days or nights. Most of them come in a rollerball form if you’re not ready to commit or drop a lot of cash.

TIP: Go into Sephora and get samples of your three favourite perfumes. Scents smell a little different and last differently on each person so testing them is a great idea and is super fun. All you have to do is ask someone for samples and they can give you up to 3.

Clean Ultimate Beach Day

After much testing, this is my favourite summer scent. I purchased a bottle and I’m using it almost every day. This is the beach in a bottle!

Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk

You can’t have a beach and summer scent post without this perfume. Beach Walk is my ultimate favourite but because it doesn’t last as long on me (it fades quickly throughout the day), I opted for my second favourite above: Clean Ultimate Beach Day. Travel spray is here.

Nest Indigo

I’m not a big fan of floral scents but this one is absolutely amazing because it has a sophisticated edge. Honestly, check out alll of their perfume. DoTerra Wild Orange

Yes an essential oil! My friend has the great idea of putting this oil in the ends of her hair for a great sweep of orange all day. I’ve been hunting for a citrus smell that I love but I honestly think this oil is a great and natural way to go.

Giorgia Armani Sun Di Gioia

Another amazing beach scent! This scent is similar to Ultimate Beach Day and Beach Walk but it’s a little more subtle. If you’re from Canada and have Optimum points burning a hole in your pocket, this perfume is available at Shoppers Drug Mart. I want the rollerball version of this to take along in my beach bag. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 

This is a new scent from Estee Lauder. The scent is beachy but with a subtle sweet floral finish. If you’re a floral scent lover this is the beach scent for you! It has base notes of creamy coconut and top notes of bergamot and warm amber! Doesn’t it sound amazing?

Clean Lovegrass

If you are into more earthy smells you will love this scent. It’s a sweet take on a nature-driven perfume which makes the name completely suitable.
