As gold, scarlet, and brunette leaves slowly carpet the ground we turn to our wardrobes and assess their Fall potential. One of my favourite ways to wear my summer dresses is to add texture. Wool, tweed, alpaca, leather, and velvet all create warmth and depth within an outfit and help transition a sundress into a Fall-worthy outfit.
This lovely “shacket” (shirt + jacket) has kept me warm in the spring when I was eagerly waiting to wear my summer dresses and now will keep me cozy as I say a long goodbye to my floral favourites.
