    The Dresses

This capsule features mostly new dresses! One of my favourite things about Sézane is their range of dress lengths. From mini to maxi there are some beautiful options that work for the office or the weekend.

    New Patterns: Yellow Leaf, Stripes

from left: Carmelina Blouse, Eleonore Dress, Ricci Top

    Yellow Leaf

The yellow leaf is the new metallic pattern from Sézane. It is 5% metallic fibre and to get the best sense of it check out the Ricci top. I have a few pieces from Sézane that are metallic and it’s my favourite kind of fabric they do. When you buy clothing from Sézane with metallic fibres it elevates the pieces making them wearable at any part of the day. The Cyrille top in ecru/pink you can wear with jeans during the day and maybe at work with white trousers but the yellow leaf you can wear at the office, at lunch, and out for a date. Also found on the Cassandre skirt, Anaya dress.

    Stripes Ecru/Blue/SILVER and Ecru/Pink

When I first saw the stripe pattern I thought it was cute and typical of summer but that’s it. BUT when you look up the fabric content of the Ecru/blue it says it has a 1% METALLIC FIBRE! It’s hard to see the subtle metallic but if you look at the skirt of the Felicie dress where the sun graces the fabric you can see the thick blue stripe is bordered with a thin silver stripe. I LOVE this kind of detail! It’s hard to express metallic on camera unless it’s dramatic so I think anything in the ecru/blue/silver is going to be surprisingly special. This fabric is found on the Talia, Lexia, and Naxos dresses, the Edouard shirt, Cyrille blouse.

    Picks of the Capsule

    The Talia Dress

So breezy and basic but don’t let that fool you. This dress has a subtle metallic stripe in it making it perfect for those summer days or date nights on a patio. The Talia is almost sold out despite not being able to see the back of it and I am one of the soon-to-be owners! I was looking at dresses while sitting with my two young daughters and decided that this was the only one I would feel comfortable wearing around them- it’s machine-washable and easy. OH and it has pockets!

The Felicie Dress in Ecru Blue Silver

The hidden metallic piece! The Felicie dress originally came out last week in the G.Kero Beach print and sold out immediately- in fact it didn’t come back at all in the restocks this morning. G. Kero is a local artist that Sézane often collaborates with and his beach print featuring a sandy scene with characters in bathing suits has been a best seller. When I saw the Felicie I thought it was a cute dress but I was unsure of the print and hoped Sézane would make the dress in other colours and my wish came true! I was initially attracted to the pink version but the silver is a game-changer! This dress is a great value for Sézane at $130 USD which is the same price as many of their blouses.

    The Felicie Dress in Pink!

If you have ever watched Disney’s Sleeping Beauty there’s a scene where the fairies fight over whether to make a dress pink or blue and here we have the same dilemma in french fashion form! You could easily get away with buying both colours because they each give off a different look. My favourite part? The pretty pink tassel ties!

    The Lissandre T-shirt

As a recent Sézane t-shirt convert I think this top is a great buy! It’s cotton and comes in pretty shades of green and coral. The back detail of the Lissandre shirt is a gorgeous deep scoop with a tie at the back which makes it more than just a plain t-shirt.

    Carmelina Blouse

This is another blouse that will go quickly! The gorgeous print, flattering neck and practical elastic cuffs confirm that you can wear it literally everywhere. It’s sold out in France so if it’s still accessible to you I would grab the Carmelina right away!

    Eleonore Dress

I love a midi dress and this is a good midi dress. The Eleonore is another dress that will shimmer in the metallic yellow leaf print. I find the midi length very comfortable and luxurious especially as this is a silk dress so it will feel like wearing a silk blanket. It is soon to arrive in the classic and sexy black colour as well.

    Moira Bag

Sézane has released many basket bags the past few months and they are all gorgeous. I recently indulged in the Havane after it haunted me after my New York trip. The real leather straps and radial design make this an interesting and beautiful bag that is definitely big enough for your beach essentials!

    Low Ruben Sandal in Gingham

This is one of three pretty patterned sandals Sézane just released. Print can be intimidating but wearing it on your feet is a great way to spice up any basic outfit. Wearing jeans and a tee? Add the Low Ruben patterned sandal to give your outfit a stylish boost! Gingham also never goes out of style.

I hope you enjoyed this post and my picks of the capsule! If there are any other Sézane addicts out there that have indulged in the capsule please comment below or connect with me on instagram! I love to chat fashion!
