The straw basket trend is one I adore. I love to wear anything that’s easy and casual. This trend actually started with Jane Birkin in the 70s who wore a basket as a purse around Paris – like an actual basket. As an influencer, Birkin made the basket a fashionable accessory and a classic summer staple. Today you can find the Birkin basket for around $100 and many pretty straw totes in stores but I have found so many gorgeous options second hand that I just have to argue for shopping vintage for this trend.
