HELLO! This post is an introduction to me, my family and my blog which starts below. All pictures taken by my favourite photographer, Jenna of Bear & Sparrow (full disclosure and brag: she’s my sister-in-law!).
I’m Kait! I’m a mom of two sweet, perfect, mischievous, strong girls and wife to my husband Wes going on 5 years. As a new mom I found myself in a fashion and confidence rut. Dressing my new body was overwhelming! My boobs kept growing and shrinking with breastfeeding. I didn’t know what my hair was doing. How many grey hairs do I have now? What do I wear now that I’m not at work? What do I wear when I want to look professional? What the heck are these new trends? Cropped kick-flares? Does this top make me look like a teenager or senior? Can I still shop at Forever 21? OVERWHELM! As I came out of the newborn fog I decided to start a blog showcasing the fashion and styles that work for my new body and push myself to try new styles that are intimidating.
My strongest and most unpopular view on “mom” fashion is: I hate leggings. Like everyone, I have a clothing budget, and I prefer my money go to something else, like the most comfortable jeans I own (and I own 4 pairs). We can find something to wear that’s more flattering and fun right!? There’s definitely a season where just getting dressed in clean clothes is what you have to do but once you have the time and make the time (you deserve to make the time) to buy some new clothes, buy something new and beautiful! I want to help other fabulous moms rediscover their sexiness, confidence and spend their $100 on some flattering pieces. Leave your leggings for the gym and airplanes and check out my tips and tricks here at KaitBos.com, or through videos on my YouTube channel where I also vlog. I get personal on Facebook and I photo-bomb you here on Instagram. If you want to see my current inspirations follow me on Pinterest. Please comment and connect with me!
