We finally had our sweet baby boy! While I’m happy to not be pregnant anymore, I still need my pregnancy wardrobe. I began this pregnancy with the goal to buy as a few maternity pieces as possible so I could use everything after. I’m happy to say I can count on one hand the maternity-specific items I purchased. Most of the bump-friendly items I own are from Dôen so I thought I would put together a blog post with a list of my favourite pieces that work for pregnancy. There are three different lists below: What I loved wearing throughout my entire pregnancy, the pieces that are best for 1st & 2nd trimesters and Dôen’s own list of bump-friendly styles straight from their instagram highlights.
These dresses and tops were worn throughout my pregnancy. All the tops became too short for the last 4 weeks of pregnancy
*Breastfeeding-friendly
See my Instagram highlights here for more pics and videos of my favourite bump-friendly styles from Dôen and other brands!
Dôen Yarrow Dress (5 months pregnant) | Dôen Bijou Dress (8 months pregnant)
Dôen Georgia dress (currently 12 weeks pregnant here but wore to full term)
Dôen Carnation dress (not pregnant in this pic but check out my instagram bump-friendly highlights here to see how this dress looks at 8 months pregnant)
Dôen Roan Dress (similar) (5 months pregnant)
Dôen Primrose Dress (12 weeks pregnant)
Dôen Billie Top (Not currently pregnant in photo but top works untucked for 1st & 2nd trimester)
Dôen Anise Top (Not currently pregnant in photo but top works untucked for 1st & 2nd trimester)
In an interest to keep this list comprehensive the following is from Dôen’s instagram highlights of what is bump-friendly and breastfeeding friendly starting from their Fall 2018 collection.
