Poppy turned 1 during the labour day weekend but we had her birthday celebration a week later so that everyone could attend. We were so excited to have our friends and family here for her special day! Poppy woke up at 3:30am for the day so she had a nap when the party started and you can see her reaction above to the chaos she came down to see.

Overwhelm! I call Poppy my “little lifeguard” because she loves to sit and observe versus take part in the chaos. Also, you’ll see in this photo balloons everywhere! My husband, Wes, learned how to make balloon animals which was a fun treat for the kids! So many swords and hats!

We had a garden theme so everyone dressed in their best florals and I got flower crowns for the kids! I wore my favourite summer dress from Urban Outfitters here in pink (the red one is in the mail!) The girls both wore dresses from Zara kids from last season but I have some similar options in the shop the post section at the bottom of the page.
