Plaid to me is a very fall pattern. I’m always surprised when checks come out in all forms in spring and summer because to me it signifies colder weather approaching. It’s very Canadian to own several plaid flannel tops (so cozy). But plaid is charming for the warmer months, making us think of picnic baskets and charming home textiles. So if summer has proved you’re missing a top, dress, blouse or skirt consider plaid to take you into Fall and even the holidays.
