Reversible Jackets & Finding an “Almost Classic”

Neutrals and classics have always been a tough thing for me to buy. As handy and practical as they are I think they’re mostly boring. It’s hard to get excited about spending a part of your clothing budget on something that you have to or think you should. I also think that as consumers we feel pressured to buy classics and have that minimalist wardrobe but in reality it’s just not for everyone. It may seem like a good idea to buy a classic trench coat but if you don’t love it, you won’t wear it.

I fully believe that you can purchase an “almost classic” (name pending) which is something unique but still neutral and practical enough to go with your whole wardrobe. An example would be this coat which is REVERSIBLE! The floral side fills my need for whimsy but the khaki green side, large pockets, and design of the coat is all very practical.
