I got my first maxi dress this year! I’m 5’3″ so I’ve always been intimidated by long dresses that can overwhelm my frame. As a mom I love the idea of wearing long dresses for modesty- I can’t tell you how many times my daughters play “peek-a-boo” under my knee-length dresses allowing any passerby to get to know me a bit more personally than I would like.

After my first maxi dress I quickly became addicted to these lovely garments that felt like I was wearing a long and fancy blanket.
