What I got at the Net-a-Porter Sale

It’s Black Friday! This is a hilarious term because it’s Wednesday but the whole week is dedicated to this one day of sales so here we are. It’s a great time for holiday shopping (see some favourite kid’s items here) and it’s ALSO a great time to finally grab a few pieces you’ve been lusting for at good prices. Net-a-Porter has become one of my favourite places to shop ever since they released their Dôen edit which was an impressive selection of exclusive pieces. Some of my favourite items came from their collaboration ie. my rose top and jasmine dress both in the white petit jardin floral.

I now go to Net-a-Porter for the beautifully curated collection, to discover new designers, and read their editorials. It’s basically the chicest magazine ever and now FINALLY our favourite items are on sale! Below I’ve collected my favourite items including what I’ve bought and what would be perfect for a hot weather vacation. I’m already thinking about Spring Break!

    What I’ve Bought

If you’ve read my blogs before you’ll know I’m a big fan of Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen. I’m happy to have finally ordered one of her famous ethereal, light-as-cloud dresses! I love the voluminous skirt and unique waistline seams drew me to the Thelma dress . The puffy sleeves, floral-textured fabric, and classic white colour are what made it a great buy. It’s perfect paired with a velvet bow and flats for the holidays or minimal white sneakers and a pair of chic sunglasses in spring.

Update! I received this gorgeous cloud-like dress and it’s so beautiful. The quality and craftsmanship are amazing. However I wanted this to be a fun holiday outfit that I feel comfortable wearing around my children and that’s just not the case. UPDATE! I’m returning this and I already bought a different Cecilie Bahnsen dress from MatchesFashion because they’re having a great sale! I’ll chat all about my new purchase in my newsletter so be sure to sign up!

    – Ganni Low Texas Ankle Boots –

I’m a bit behind on the western trend but I think I’ve found a pair of boots to catch me up. Sometimes trends don’t work for me and sometimes I just have to wait for the perfect piece. These Ganni boots are the perfect piece. When I think of cowboy boots I think of something rugged, stiff, and uncomfortable. The resurgence of the western trend has produced some really cool designs, even french brand Sézane has a pair that are almost all sold out! But it wasn’t until I saw these gorgeous, feminine but basic pair that I finally felt the urge to buy some. The trendy square toe and the butterfly design make these my prettiest boots yet! I can’t wait to wear them with dresses and jeans. *UPDATE! Also returning! You win some and you lose some. While these are beautiful boots I’m just not sure I’ll get a lot of wear out of them right now. The craftsmanship is beautiful though so I highly recommend Ganni shoes!
