After each child my style shifts a little bit. I craved more feminine looks after my first daughter and went into the deep end after I had my second loving all dresses and every delicate detail. I had my son in June and I feel my style changing again. I still love feminine styles but I crave some contrast.
I’m really into Danish fashion right now which I didn’t realize until I wrote this post and discovered three of my new favourite brands were all from Copenhagen . Ganni, Cecilie Bahnsen, and Mr Larkin produce really beautiful designs all with their own contemporary take on femininity- the contrast I’m attracted to.
Ganni has been on my radar for a while. It seems every cool fashion editor/influencer/it-girl has a Ganni piece in their wardrobe. The brand’s designs are effortless, colourful and fun which is what I love especially when fused into a dress. I was so happy to snag this Ganni Weston dress off the Real Real. The horse illustration is beautiful, unique and almost pyjama-like. But how fun is this print on a pretty voluminous poplin dress! I’ve admired this dress on many street style photos (google it!) and I’m happy to grab it and at a great price. This will definitely not be my last Ganni piece.
I’ve collected my favourite Ganni pieces (second hand and new) below for you!
