Jane(s)! Y’all I did not need another Jane blouse! This is my 4th one and I definitely got caught up in the fact that they marketed it as a pyjama top. Swipe for each of my Janes and read below for my thoughts on them.
I was never sold on the Jane top until I saw so many women in the #doencollective community styling it so well. I thought the top would be too voluminous for my frame but I find my shape doesn’t get lost in the semi-sheer versions. It’s such a classic style that I will love forever and ever. I feel like I’ve officially started collecting them.
My latest Jane! I was going to wait to show you this Jane because I ordered the shorts to complete this set but it hasn’t shipped yet and I was too excited to let it hang in my closet. I really like this micro floral print (swipe to see swatch). I adore anything pink and I think the print size is adorable. I’ll wait for the shorts to wear it to bed but I had a nap in this today and it was a very comfy sleep top! It’s semi-sheer and I would say just as sheer as my daisy version. We had a cold morning which turned into a pretty hot day and this top kept me comfortable throughout the day. I tan too easily so I love wearing light Doen tops in the summer to keep my skin protected but also stay cool. This print is sold out but they have a very similar one here.
I LOVE this plaid. The Austen Plaid has been one of my favourite patterns and fabrics from Doen this spring. I love anything pink and I love the combo of colours in this print. The fabric is super soft – they made a nightgown called the Lodge in it – and I think I tried every single piece they made in this pattern and settled on the Jane as my favourite. It’s only slightly sheer as you can see in the photo and I think that’s true for a lot of the plaids they use. See their newest plaid selection here.
I bought this Jane second hand and I think it was from Net-a-Porter originally. Although it’s an XS like my others it fits the smallest somehow. I adore this top and wear it with everything from jeans to my Margery pants as a pyjama top! (The new Thumbelina pant will go perfectly). They have a lot of amazing white bottoms now which would look so great paired with this classic beauty.
This was my first Jane and the fabric is irresistible. I bought and returned this and it was one of my “return-regrets” so I finally ended up grabbing a small which fits very similarly except the sleeve is longer. GOSH I LOVE THIS FABRIC! It’s absolutely gorgeous. I think they only made two items in this fabric and I always wondered why because it’s one of my all time favourites. I love their latest light blue Jane.
